Yazen Raises €50M for Digital Obesity Care
Yazen has raised €50M to expand its digital obesity-care platform across Europe.

The GLP-1 boom is creating a new healthcare market around the medication itself.
What happened
Swedish digital-health company Yazen secured €50 million to expand its obesity-care platform across Europe.
The service combines weight-loss medication with ongoing support from doctors, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists and health coaches. The company already operates across multiple European countries and says tens of thousands of patients are currently in treatment.
Why it matters
GLP-1 drugs can be highly effective, but prescribing medication is only one part of long-term obesity care.
Patients may need support around dose management, side effects, nutrition, exercise and behavioural change. That creates room for digital-care providers that wrap clinical services around the drug rather than simply acting as prescribing channels.
The bigger picture
The obesity market is evolving into an ecosystem of pharmaceutical companies, telehealth platforms, diagnostics and ongoing care providers.
Yazen is betting that the durable value will sit in longitudinal patient management rather than a one-off prescription. If that model proves effective and scalable, digital care platforms could become an important distribution and support layer for a rapidly expanding class of metabolic medicines.
