Vusion Moves to Acquire In-Store Media
Vusion plans to acquire In-Store Media and combine connected-store infrastructure with a larger retail-advertising business.

Vusion is expanding beyond the technology used to manage shelves and prices, moving further into the business of monetising attention inside physical stores.
What happened
Vusion signed an agreement to acquire Barcelona-based In-Store Media. Financial terms were not disclosed.
In-Store Media generated approximately €120 million in 2025 revenue and works with more than 1,600 brands. Its business helps retailers operate advertising campaigns within physical shops.
Why it matters
Vusion already provides connected-store infrastructure such as electronic shelf labels and digital systems. Adding an established advertising platform could allow it to connect store operations with campaigns targeted at shoppers close to the point of purchase.
For retailers, this creates another potential revenue stream from physical locations. For brands, it offers a way to reach customers while they are actively choosing products.
The bigger picture
Retail media has grown rapidly online because ecommerce platforms can link advertising exposure directly to purchases. Physical retailers are now trying to build a similar model using digital displays, connected shelves and store-level data. Vusion’s proposed acquisition is a bet that the store itself can become a measurable media channel.
