Visko Raises $10M for Live AI Worlds

Visko is pushing generative media toward a more ambitious frontier: not just making clips, but creating interactive worlds that keep running.

What happened

Sunnyvale-based Visko raised a $10M pre-seed and launched Orbis, its first “Live Model.”

The company describes Orbis as a foundation model that generates interactive, persistent worlds in real time rather than producing fixed offline video clips.

That distinction matters. A video model creates a sequence. A live world model needs to maintain continuity, react to users and update the environment as actions happen. That makes it relevant to gaming, simulation, virtual production, creative tools and potentially robotics training environments.

The round is early, but the product direction is aligned with where generative media is moving.

Why it matters

This is a useful generative-media signal.

AI image and video tools are already crowded. The next competitive layer is interactivity: systems that let users explore, direct and modify scenes rather than simply generate a finished asset.

Persistent worlds could become important for game development, storyboarding, simulation and immersive content. But they also raise harder technical questions around consistency, latency, controllability and compute cost.

The bigger picture

The AI media stack is shifting from content generation to environment generation.

That is a bigger change than another text-to-video model. If startups can make interactive worlds reliable and affordable, they could change how digital experiences are designed. Visko is still early, but its launch shows investors are willing to fund the jump from flat media to live simulation.
