Vecna Robotics Raises $31M for Automation
Vecna Robotics has raised $31M to expand autonomous material-handling systems for warehouses and logistics operations.

Vecna Robotics has raised $31M to meet growing demand for autonomous material-handling systems in warehouses and logistics sites.
What happened
The round was led by Unless, with participation from Drive Capital, Tiger Global, Highland Capital Partners and Tectonic Ventures. Vecna develops autonomous forklifts and transport systems designed to move goods through warehouse environments.
Why it matters
Material handling is one of the clearest commercial use cases for robotics. The environment is structured, labour costs are measurable and repetitive movement can be automated without requiring general-purpose human-like intelligence.
The bigger picture
Robotics capital is increasingly flowing toward deployment-focused companies rather than speculative demonstrations. Warehouse and industrial automation provide the kind of constrained environments where robots can generate measurable ROI today, while improvements in perception and autonomy expand the range of tasks they can handle over time.
