Turbine Capital Closes €54M Nordic Deeptech Fund
The Swedish firm’s first fund combines institutional capital with industrial partners to support early-stage Nordic deeptech companies.

Turbine Capital has closed its first fund at €54 million, or SEK 608 million, to invest in early-stage Nordic deeptech companies.
What happened
The fund brings together institutional investors and industrial partners including major companies in transport, manufacturing and engineering. Turbine’s model is designed to connect portfolio companies with technical expertise, commercial networks and potential customers alongside capital.
Why it matters
Deeptech startups often need more than financing. Long development cycles, industrial validation and manufacturing requirements make access to experienced corporate partners unusually valuable.
The bigger picture
European venture funds are building more specialised structures around hard technology. Funds that combine investment with industrial access may help young companies cross the difficult gap between promising research and scaled commercial deployment.
