Treble Raises $18M for Physical-AI Acoustics
Treble has raised $18 million to scale acoustic simulation and synthetic sound data for physical AI systems.

Treble has raised an $18 million Series A-2 to expand acoustic simulation technology for products and AI systems that need to understand sound.
What happened
The round was led by Paladin Capital Group, with KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures and the European Innovation Council Fund participating. Total funding has reached roughly €36 million.
Treble develops software that simulates sound and generates synthetic acoustic data. That allows developers to test audio-enabled products and train AI systems without collecting every possible real-world sound environment.
Why it matters
Physical AI is often discussed primarily through vision, but robots and smart devices also need to interpret audio. Real-world sound varies dramatically across rooms, materials, machinery and environmental conditions.
Synthetic acoustic environments could therefore become another important simulation layer, reducing the cost and complexity of collecting training data.
The bigger picture
Simulation is becoming central to physical AI because real-world data is expensive and slow to gather. As robots gain more sensors, the market for synthetic training environments will likely extend beyond visual worlds into sound, touch and other modalities. Treble is positioning itself inside that broader infrastructure layer.
