Tether and Fasanara launch $400M private credit fund
Tether and Fasanara Capital launched a $400 million private-credit vehicle designed to connect stablecoin infrastructure with real-economy lending.

Stablecoins are moving beyond payments and trading into the plumbing of private credit.
What happened
Tether and Fasanara Capital launched StableFund, an evergreen private-credit vehicle anchored by $400 million of sponsor capital and targeting up to $3 billion from third-party institutional investors. The fund plans to lend to small and midsize businesses while using stablecoin infrastructure alongside conventional financing rails.
Why it matters
Private credit is a large and growing market, while stablecoins offer faster settlement and programmable transaction infrastructure. Combining the two tests whether digital-dollar rails can become useful inside traditional lending markets.
The bigger picture
The boundary between crypto infrastructure and conventional finance continues to blur. Stablecoins are increasingly being positioned as backend financial infrastructure rather than purely speculative assets.
