telli raises €13.1M for customer-operation agents
telli has raised €13.1M to deploy AI agents across calls, messaging and email for consumer-facing businesses.

Customer-service AI is moving from isolated chatbots toward systems that operate across the entire customer journey.
What happened
telli raised a €13.1M seed round led by Redalpine, bringing total funding to more than €16.1M. Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator returned as investors.
The Berlin-based company enables consumer businesses to deploy AI agents across phone calls, chat, SMS, WhatsApp and email. The agents can qualify leads, book appointments, follow up with customers and resolve support requests.
The company names Sky, Viessmann, Enpal and Vaillant among its customers. Its product is designed for businesses managing large volumes of customer interactions rather than occasional internal automation.
Why it matters
Customer operations are one of the clearest commercial applications for AI agents because performance can be measured through conversion, response times, resolution rates and escalation levels.
The challenge is that voice and messaging interactions often involve regulated products, emotional customers and incomplete information. A system that performs well on routine requests can still create significant cost or reputational risk when it handles edge cases badly.
The bigger picture
The market is shifting from single-channel bots toward orchestration across multiple communication surfaces.
Companies will increasingly judge agent platforms on integration, governance and operational reliability rather than conversational fluency alone. The strongest vendors may become a control layer across customer acquisition, service and retention—but only if they can demonstrate that automation improves economics without weakening trust.
