TEKEVER plans an Odense base as EIFO commits to its Series D

TEKEVER is adding a Danish foothold to its European expansion plans.

What happened

The drone company announced on 6 November that it plans to establish its first operational presence in Denmark, in Odense. Denmark's export and investment fund, EIFO, has signed a commitment to join a new closing of TEKEVER's existing Series D.

Why it matters

The local presence could help the company build relationships and support its work in the Nordic region. Pairing an operational base with a national investment institution's involvement gives the expansion more substance than a funding headline alone.

The bigger picture

This is part of a previously announced Series D, whose first closing took place in September. It should not be treated as an entirely new round raised today, or as proof that EIFO's committed money has already been received. The next milestones are establishing the base and turning the expansion into operating capacity.
