Tandem Health Raises $100M for Clinical AI
Tandem Health raises $100M as ambient clinical AI expands into a broader operating layer for healthcare providers.

Tandem Health has raised $100 million in a Series B as it pushes beyond AI note-taking toward a broader operating layer for healthcare organisations.
What happened
The Stockholm-based company says its AI assistant is already used by more than 10,000 healthcare organisations across 14 European markets. The round was led by the EU-backed Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT, with Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective and Visionaries also participating.
Tandem began with clinical documentation but is expanding into patient intake, triage, scheduling and other operational workflows.
Why it matters
Ambient clinical scribes are becoming crowded. The more defensible opportunity may be controlling multiple parts of the care workflow rather than simply transcribing conversations.
If Tandem can connect documentation with scheduling, patient communication and clinical decision support, it becomes harder to replace and more valuable to healthcare providers.
The bigger picture
Healthcare AI is moving from point solutions toward platform strategies. The winners may be companies that combine trusted clinical data, workflow integration and regulatory compliance across many parts of a provider's operation. Tandem's round suggests European investors believe that transition is already underway.
