Superhuman Acquires AI Notetaker Fathom
Superhuman acquires Fathom to add meeting intelligence to its growing AI productivity platform.

Superhuman has acquired AI meeting notetaker Fathom as productivity platforms race to capture more of the context needed for useful workplace agents.
What happened
Fathom has more than 400,000 monthly active users and has recorded meetings for over one million people. Its software captures conversations, produces summaries and extracts follow-up actions.
Superhuman plans to integrate that meeting intelligence across its email, calendar, document and agent products. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Why it matters
Email alone gives an AI assistant only a partial picture of work. Meetings contain decisions, commitments, relationships and informal context that often never make it into structured systems.
Acquiring Fathom gives Superhuman immediate access to that additional context layer instead of building meeting capture and transcription from scratch.
The bigger picture
AI productivity products are converging toward the same strategic goal: own as much workplace context as possible. Email, meetings, calendars, documents and tasks are becoming inputs into a unified agent layer. The companies that control those data streams may have a stronger advantage than those offering isolated AI features.
