StrollMe secures €22 million to expand children’s mobility subscriptions

The combined equity and debt financing will support rental-fleet expansion and growth in European markets; the split was not disclosed.

StrollMe secures €22 million to expand children’s mobility subscriptions

Children outgrow bikes, strollers and car seats. StrollMe’s subscription model aims to keep those products in use across more than one family, with new financing to expand the fleet.

What happened

On 29 October, StrollMe announced €22 million in combined equity and debt financing. Existing investors participated alongside BMH, while Growth Credit Partners provides the credit facility. The equity and debt amounts were not separately disclosed.

The company offers subscriptions for children’s mobility products in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Returned products are professionally refurbished for further rental. Funding will increase fleet availability and support European growth.

Why it matters

A physical-product subscription business needs capital for inventory as well as software and customer acquisition. Combining equity with credit can fund that asset base, but it also makes utilisation, refurbishment costs and product life important to the economics.

The bigger picture

More products available to rent can support growth only if demand and fleet productivity keep pace. The financing gives StrollMe resources to expand; the commercial test is profitable reuse across successive subscriptions.
