Stoke Space raises $1B for reusable rockets
Stoke Space has completed the initial close of a $1 billion Series E to scale production and launch infrastructure for its reusable rocket programme.

Stoke Space has joined the small group of space startups able to raise billion-dollar private rounds before reaching full commercial scale.
What happened
The company completed the initial closing of a $1 billion Series E led by Point72 Ventures and Spark Capital. The funding will support production, launch infrastructure and development of Stoke’s next-generation reusable rocket. Stoke has now raised roughly $2.3 billion in total.
Why it matters
Launch is a capital-heavy market with enormous technical barriers, and SpaceX remains dominant. Stoke is betting that full reuse of both rocket stages can create a credible alternative with lower operating costs and faster turnaround.
The bigger picture
Private capital is increasingly willing to finance space infrastructure at industrial scale. The market is shifting from small experimental rounds toward large investments in manufacturing, launch capacity and reusable transportation systems.
