Starlink reaches 12M+ active customers

Starlink says it now has more than 12 million active customers.

That is a major signal for satellite internet. What once looked like a niche rural-connectivity product is becoming a large-scale infrastructure network with consumer, enterprise, maritime, aviation, and government use cases.

For spacetech and connectivity startups, the lesson is clear: orbital infrastructure is becoming part of everyday internet access. The sky is no longer just full of stars. It is also full of routers, apparently.
