Shackleton AI raises $5m for construction administration
Construction projects generate paperwork almost as reliably as they generate buildings.

Construction projects generate paperwork almost as reliably as they generate buildings.
What happened
Shackleton AI emerged from stealth with $5 million in seed funding led by Battery Ventures. Its platform connects development and construction-management workflows and uses agents to handle administrative work.
The company says it manages more than $1 billion in project value across over 15 US states. That is the value of projects using the platform, not Shackleton's revenue or valuation.
Why it matters
Schedules, budgets, field reports and communications affect one another. Helping teams keep those records connected could reduce repeated data entry and make it easier to spot issues before they spread through a project.
The bigger picture
The next test is repeated use by the people running projects, alongside measurable savings in time or errors. Reported project value shows the scale of work passing through the software, while providing no direct measure of the company's own sales.
