Serval raises $150 million to automate enterprise work
Sequoia led the Series C at a $3 billion valuation, backing Serval’s enterprise service-management and automation platform.

Enterprise teams often use software to track work that still needs a person to complete it. Serval is raising substantial capital around automating more of that work.
What happened
On 29 October, Serval announced a $150 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation, led by Sequoia. Participants included existing backers Elad Gil, Evantic, First Round, General Catalyst and Redpoint, alongside Conviction and Headline.
It was Serval’s third round in twelve months. The company develops an enterprise service-management platform using AI agents to create automations and handle employee requests.
Why it matters
The proposition reaches beyond answering a support question: it aims to connect the request with the systems and actions needed to resolve it. That places reliability, permissions and integration alongside model quality.
For customers, the relevant measure is completed work and reduced operational effort, rather than the number of agent interactions.
The bigger picture
The funding gives Serval resources to expand its product and delivery capacity. The next commercial test is whether broader deployments produce durable efficiency gains while remaining governable within complex organisations.
