Roleo raises €2.9m for career agents
Roleo raised €2.9m to expand a personal AI career agent that matches European technology professionals with relevant opportunities and hiring teams.

A relevant job opportunity can appear while someone is busy doing their current job. Roleo is building a personal AI agent to keep track of that market on a professional’s behalf.
What happened
Roleo raised €2.9m in a round led by Practica Capital, with participation from Inventure, bringing total funding to €3.46m.
Founded by Veriff co-founder Janer Gorohhov and former Wise engineer Vahur Hansen, the company matches technology professionals with roles based on their experience, goals and preferences. The service is free for professionals, while employers pay when they hire. Funding will support expansion across Europe and further product development.
Why it matters
Career matching requires more than comparing a job title with a CV. Location, salary, responsibilities and the timing of a possible move all affect whether an introduction is useful.
A persistent agent could reduce the effort of monitoring those opportunities. The value depends on the relevance of its matches and whether the resulting introductions are worth pursuing.
The bigger picture
Personal agents are increasingly being proposed for tasks that continue in the background rather than ending after one conversation. Career discovery is a clear example of that recurring activity.
Candidates also need control over when their interest becomes visible to a potential employer. For Roleo, maintaining that control while producing useful introductions is part of the service, alongside expanding the number of professionals and companies that can find a suitable match.
