Rocker Raises $12.85M for Enterprise AI Memory
Rocker launches with $12.85 million in backing for an AI assistant that maintains organisational context across everyday business applications.

AI agents can retrieve a document or draft a message, yet still miss the history behind a business decision. Rocker is building around that missing organisational memory.
What happened
Rocker emerged from stealth with $12.85 million in funding led by Greycroft. Participants included investors associated with Anthropic, Menlo Ventures' Anthology Fund, Matchstick and Stripe, alongside individual executives.
Founded by former Google and Stripe employees, the company is developing an enterprise assistant that builds context from connected workplace tools such as email, messaging and documents. Its aim is to recognise project responsibilities, previous decisions and pending commitments so it can support workflows that last longer than a single chat session.
The product has opened a waitlist and is working with a limited group of early organisations. The financing and launch do not establish large-scale deployment or independently verified productivity improvements.
Why it matters
Persistent context could allow agents to provide more relevant assistance and reduce the need for employees to repeatedly explain the same processes. It also creates difficult permission questions: an assistant must not expose one team's confidential material to people who lack access.
Integration quality, data governance and accurate understanding of changes over time may be more important than the chatbot interface.
The bigger picture
Enterprise AI is becoming a contest over context as much as model capability. Rocker is one of several startups attempting to create the memory and control layer that makes multi-step AI workflows useful inside organisations.
