Robot.com Expands Delivery to 10 More Campuses
Robot.com and Grubhub are expanding autonomous delivery to 10 additional US campuses after early deployment experience in constrained environments.

Robot.com and Grubhub are extending their autonomous-delivery partnership to 10 more US campuses.
What happened
The companies renewed their partnership for three years and plan to expand to more than 20 active campus locations.
Robot.com says its fleet has already completed more than 25,000 deliveries at one university deployment.
Why it matters
Campuses are attractive environments for autonomous delivery because routes are constrained, demand is recurring and vehicle speeds can remain low.
That makes them useful proving grounds for commercial robotics before companies attempt more complex open urban environments.
The bigger picture
Autonomous delivery is finding traction through narrow geographic use cases rather than immediate citywide deployment. Campuses, industrial parks and similar environments may become the bridge between robotics pilots and sustainable fleet economics.
