Reo.Dev raises $11.3M to find buyers hidden inside developer activity

Reo.Dev has raised an $11.3 million Series A led by Elevation Capital, bringing total funding to $15.3 million. Heavybit, India Quotient, Foster Ventures and Uncorrelated Ventures also participated.

What happened

The platform analyses signals such as GitHub commits, documentation usage, command-line interactions, package downloads and product engagement to identify which developers and organisations may be moving toward a purchase. Reo.Dev is also developing tools to detect when AI agents evaluate or interact with software.

Why it matters

Technical products are often discovered and adopted by developers before a formal procurement process begins. Traditional sales systems may not capture those early signals, leaving vendors unable to identify which users are becoming serious potential buyers.

The bigger picture

As AI agents increasingly research, test and select software, purchasing behaviour may become less visible to conventional sales teams. Reo.Dev is betting that a new intelligence layer will be needed to interpret both human and machine-generated intent. Its opportunity is large, but the company must prove that its signals improve conversion rather than simply adding more data to already crowded sales workflows.
