Reactive Technologies Secures €19M for Grid Intelligence
Reactive Technologies secures European Investment Bank financing to expand real-time grid-monitoring technology.

Reactive Technologies has secured new financing to help power grids manage a more complex energy system.
What happened
The London-based company secured €19 million in financing from the European Investment Bank.
Its GridVerix platform measures grid conditions such as inertia and voltage stability in real time. The funding will support research, development and deployment across Europe.
The technology is designed to help grid operators understand system stability as electricity networks incorporate more renewable generation and more large consumers.
Why it matters
Power grids are becoming harder to manage. Renewable generation can be variable, while large new demand sources such as data centres are putting additional pressure on infrastructure.
Real-time grid measurement can help operators integrate more renewables while reducing the cost and risk of maintaining stability.
The bigger picture
Climate tech is not only about producing clean energy. It is also about upgrading the systems that move and manage electricity.
As electrification and AI-driven demand increase, grid intelligence will become an increasingly important layer of energy infrastructure.
