Ravical raises $17 million for shared AI workflows

MMC Ventures led the seed round as Ravical expands software designed to help accounting firms grow without adding staff at the same pace.

Ravical raises $17 million for shared AI workflows

An accounting firm’s best judgement often lives with its most experienced staff. Ravical wants to turn that expertise into repeatable AI workflows that the wider firm can use.

What happened

On 29 October, Ravical announced a $17 million seed round, led by MMC Ventures. Existing investors Lakestar and Pitchdrive participated alongside Shapers, bringing total financing to $25 million.

The startup develops software for accounting and tax firms to standardise processes and apply internal know-how across clients. More than 100 European accounting firms use its platform.

Funding will support product development, hiring and expansion in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, with further European markets and the US also planned.

Why it matters

Professional-services firms typically grow by recruiting more people. If routine work can incorporate a firm’s own practices consistently, staff may be able to handle more clients and spend more time on judgement-heavy advice.

That depends on reliable outputs and appropriate review, especially where errors carry financial consequences.

The bigger picture

Ravical’s proposition is organisational adoption: a shared operating approach rather than scattered individual assistants. The commercial test is whether firms see measurable capacity gains while maintaining the quality and accountability clients expect.
