RapidCanvas Raises $29M for Enterprise AI Deployment

RapidCanvas has raised $29 million for a hybrid approach to enterprise AI: software provides the repeatable foundation, while field engineers help customers turn it into working applications.

What happened

The Series B was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, with participation from Hitachi Ventures and existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners and Titanium Ventures. The round brings RapidCanvas's total funding to $52.5 million.

Its model combines an agentic AI platform with field AI engineers who work directly with customers to build and maintain customised applications. RapidCanvas says its annual recurring revenue has increased eightfold over six quarters, although that growth figure is company-reported.

The company is positioning the model between traditional consulting and self-service software. Customers receive hands-on implementation support, while the platform is intended to make each deployment more structured and reusable.

Why it matters

Many enterprise AI projects perform well as demonstrations but stall before production. The problem is often not access to a model. Companies must connect internal data, redesign workflows, test reliability and maintain the system after launch.

RapidCanvas is betting that embedded technical support can close this implementation gap without turning every project into a fully bespoke consulting engagement.

The bigger picture

The round highlights an important shift in enterprise AI competition. Model access is becoming easier, so value is moving toward deployment, workflow integration and measurable outcomes. The central question for RapidCanvas is whether its human-intensive delivery model can scale while preserving software-like margins and repeatability.
