RadianX secures $9m across venture and project financing
Backing from investors and a manufacturing partner supports a production line for perovskite solar modules.

Small devices still need a dependable source of power.
What happened
SOSV announced on 5 November that RadianX had secured $9 million in combined venture and project financing. SOSV and Twynam co-led the seed round, while manufacturing partner Pacific Union Technology Precision Manufacturing is supporting a dedicated production line.
Why it matters
RadianX is developing perovskite solar modules for applications such as sensors and connected devices. Harvesting ambient light could reduce charging or battery-replacement requirements where a device's energy consumption is low enough.
The bigger picture
The combined figure should not be presented as $9 million of seed equity alone. Nor does the technology mean every device can run indefinitely without charging. Commercial performance will depend on available light, power demand, durability and manufacturing consistency. The production line is a step towards testing those economics at scale.
