QwikBuild Raises $2.3M for Enterprise AI
Bengaluru startup QwikBuild raises $2.3 million in pre-seed capital and plans a Japanese joint venture to expand its AI-assisted enterprise application platform.

Enterprises frequently need internal applications tailored to their workflows, but building and maintaining them can require long development cycles. QwikBuild is developing tools to make that process more accessible.
What happened
Bengaluru-based QwikBuild raised $2.3 million in pre-seed funding led by Japanese technology company Globalway. Other participants include Blume Ventures, DeVC, Marsshot and individual investors.
The startup builds a platform intended to help organisations create and modify enterprise applications, automate workflows and connect existing systems using AI agents and software tools. It targets teams seeking to modernise legacy processes without treating every change as a conventional custom-development project.
QwikBuild reports serving more than 100 enterprise customers in multiple markets. It also announced plans to establish a joint venture with Globalway as part of an expansion into Japan. Customer counts and speed-of-development benefits are company-reported rather than independently established performance measures.
Why it matters
Companies often struggle to translate operational requirements into reliable software. AI-assisted development could shorten the gap between identifying a process problem and deploying an application, especially where routine integrations and repetitive work are involved.
But enterprise systems require security, governance, maintainability and careful testing. Generating an interface quickly does not guarantee that the underlying workflows are safe or correct.
The planned relationship with an investor that also offers market access could help QwikBuild overcome distribution challenges in Japan.
The bigger picture
Low-code tools, software-development platforms and AI agents are converging. The businesses that win may be those capable of managing the full operational lifecycle of enterprise applications, not merely generating a prototype from a prompt.
