Quotr Raises $4M for Construction Estimating
Quotr is applying AI to preconstruction estimating, a workflow where small errors can become expensive later.

Quotr’s seed round targets one of construction’s most consequential workflows: estimating the cost of a project before the work begins.
What happened
Quotr raised a $4 million seed round led by Llama Ventures. The company builds an AI-native construction estimation platform covering quantity takeoff, cost estimation, proposal generation and procurement workflows.
The product is aimed at helping contractors move faster and reduce manual work during preconstruction.
Why it matters
Construction estimating is a high-stakes workflow. If quantities, costs or assumptions are wrong at the bidding stage, the problems can show up later as budget overruns, change orders and margin pressure.
Quotr is trying to use AI to make that process faster and more consistent. Even though the round is small, the workflow is important enough to make the company relevant for the vertical AI trend.
The bigger picture
Construction AI is becoming more granular. Instead of broad platforms promising to fix everything, startups are attacking specific bottlenecks like estimating, billing, workforce management and contractor coordination. Quotr fits that practical, workflow-led approach.
