Querio Launches With $5M for AI Analytics
London-based Querio launches an AI analytics platform with $5 million in backing, aiming to keep business metrics consistent across AI applications.

An AI assistant can generate a persuasive answer to a business question and still produce the wrong number. Querio is tackling the data definitions that sit underneath those answers.
What happened
London startup Querio launched its AI analytics platform with $5 million in financing from investors including BMW i Ventures, Haatch Ventures, Araya Ventures, LAUNCH, Forum Ventures and Secways.
Querio allows data teams to maintain business definitions and reporting logic that multiple tools can use, including assistants operating in chat applications or other workspaces. Its approach keeps analytical logic visible and editable rather than locking it entirely inside one vendor's dashboard.
The startup also describes agents that identify changes in connected systems, flag the effects on calculations or reports and propose corrections for human approval. For example, a renamed customer-relationship-management field could otherwise cause a dashboard and an AI assistant to disagree on revenue.
Why it matters
Enterprise AI often runs into a less glamorous bottleneck than model quality: inconsistent definitions of metrics such as revenue, active customers or conversion. When different agents operate on different assumptions, errors can spread quickly through decisions.
A shared analytical layer could make automation more reliable while preserving oversight by data teams. Querio must still compete with established business-intelligence vendors, semantic-layer products and data platforms offering their own AI interfaces.
The bigger picture
As organisations deploy more AI agents, consistency and governance of underlying data become infrastructure needs. The opportunity is not merely making dashboards conversational, but making answers dependable across an entire organisation.
