Quartz Raises £2.75M for AI Personal Finance
Quartz has launched with £2.75 million to build an AI-powered personal finance platform across savings, pensions and investments.

Personal financial advice is still expensive and often fragmented across banking, pensions and investment products. Quartz has launched with £2.75 million to build a more integrated consumer finance experience.
What happened
The London-based startup raised a £2.75 million pre-seed round led by Daphni, with Outward VC and K Fund participating.
Quartz connects pensions, ISAs, savings and investments into one application. It also includes an AI assistant called Charlie designed to provide personalised financial insights.
Why it matters
Open-banking infrastructure makes it easier to aggregate financial data, while AI can potentially turn that data into more useful guidance.
The opportunity is to offer some of the experience of a personal adviser to customers who would never meet the asset threshold for traditional wealth management.
The bigger picture
Consumer fintech is shifting from single-product apps toward financial operating systems.
The challenge is trust. Personalised financial guidance touches regulated decisions and long-term savings, so AI products will need clear boundaries between information, nudges and formal advice.
