QNu Labs raises $21M as quantum-safe security scales
QNu Labs raised roughly $21 million to expand quantum-safe cybersecurity as organisations prepare for future cryptographic risks.

Quantum-safe security is moving from a theoretical concern into a real infrastructure-spending category.
What happened
QNu Labs raised ₹200 crore, roughly $21 million, in Series A1 funding, led by India's National Quantum Mission and Speciale Invest. Sony Innovation Fund, Gaja Capital and Artha Ventures also participated. The company develops quantum-safe cybersecurity technology for organisations preparing to protect sensitive systems and communications.
Why it matters
Organisations may need to migrate encryption long before cryptographically relevant quantum computers arrive. Sensitive data collected today could remain valuable for years, creating pressure to upgrade security before the threat becomes immediate.
The bigger picture
Post-quantum cybersecurity is becoming part of national technology strategy as well as enterprise risk management. That creates an emerging market across cryptography, key management and secure communications.
