Passionfroot raises $15M for B2B creator marketing
Passionfroot wants to turn specialist newsletters and podcasts into a structured marketing channel for technology companies.

Creator marketing is well established in fashion and consumer products. Passionfroot is building the infrastructure for a less obvious market: companies selling technical products to professional audiences.
What happened
The German startup raised a $15 million Series A led by Insight Partners to expand its B2B creator marketplace, particularly in the US.
Passionfroot connects brands with specialist creators who operate newsletters, podcasts and professional communities. Its platform helps creators package sponsorship inventory, manage bookings and payments, while giving companies a way to find audiences organised around topics such as AI, software development, finance and cybersecurity.
The product is designed to replace a process often managed through direct messages, spreadsheets and agencies. For creators, it can centralise commercial work; for brands, it can make campaign discovery and measurement more consistent.
Why it matters
B2B software is becoming harder to market through conventional paid channels. Buyers are overwhelmed by similar AI claims, and technically complex products often require education before a sales conversation begins.
Specialist creators can provide that context and carry trust within a narrow professional community. Passionfroot is betting that these relationships can become a repeatable performance-marketing channel rather than occasional sponsorships.
The bigger picture
The creator economy is fragmenting into specialised infrastructure. The largest consumer influencers may continue to work through agencies, while professional creators need tools closer to a marketplace and lightweight business operating system.
Passionfroot’s challenge is attribution. A newsletter sponsorship may influence a purchase months later, making it difficult to prove return on investment. The platform will become more defensible if it can connect discovery, campaign management and credible measurement without reducing trusted editorial voices to generic advertising inventory.
