Parakeet Health Raises $10M for Patient-Access AI
Parakeet Health’s Series A shows healthcare AI moving toward operational workflows where automation can directly improve access and revenue.

Parakeet Health’s new funding round shows healthcare AI moving into one of the sector’s most painful operational bottlenecks: patient access.
What happened
Parakeet Health raised an oversubscribed $10 million Series A. The company builds conversational AI for patient-access workflows across calls, text, email, web and fax.
Its platform handles tasks such as scheduling, outreach and communication across fragmented healthcare channels. The company says annual recurring revenue grew 10x over the last year, although that figure is company-reported.
Why it matters
Healthcare organisations do not just need better chatbots. They need automation in workflows where staffing shortages, missed calls, slow scheduling and fragmented communication directly affect revenue and patient care.
Patient access is a clearer economic use case because it connects automation to measurable outcomes: appointments booked, staff time saved, no-shows reduced and patients reached faster.
The bigger picture
The most durable healthcare AI companies may not be the ones with the flashiest clinical claims. They may be the ones embedded into everyday administrative workflows that providers already struggle to manage.
Parakeet’s focus shows how healthcare AI is becoming more practical. Instead of replacing medical judgement, it is targeting the operational layer that determines whether patients can actually reach care in the first place.
