Pandektes Raises €13.5M for Legal AI Data
Pandektes raised €13.5M to build legal research infrastructure that structures legislation, rulings and organisational data.

Legal AI depends on trusted data infrastructure as much as it depends on language models.
What happened
Copenhagen-based Pandektes raised a €13.5M Series A led by Alstin Capital, with participation from PROfounders, Scale Capital and existing investors. The company collects, structures and connects legal information across legislation, court decisions and administrative rulings.
Pandektes also connects this public legal information with an organisation’s own data, giving legal teams a more integrated research layer.
Why it matters
Legal AI cannot rely on generic web knowledge alone. Lawyers need jurisdiction-specific, reliable and traceable legal information, especially when outputs affect real advice or case strategy.
Pandektes is interesting because it is working on the data layer beneath legal AI, not just a chat interface. Better structured legal data can improve search, drafting, compliance analysis and internal knowledge work.
The bigger picture
The legaltech market is moving from simple document generation toward legal infrastructure. Companies that own high-quality legal data and workflow context may become more defensible than those selling generic AI wrappers.
