OWOW Raises €2.65M for Industrial Startups
OWOW Venture Studio has raised €2.65M to build B2B software, AI and physical-AI companies around problems found in traditional industries.

OWOW Venture Studio has raised fresh capital to create startups around problems it already sees inside traditional industries.
What happened
The Eindhoven-based studio raised €2.65M from eight family offices and angel investors.
It plans to build or back at least three ventures per year over the next three years, typically investing €100K to €250K per company. Its focus includes B2B software, AI and physical AI for sectors such as manufacturing, OEMs and construction.
Why it matters
Venture studios differ from traditional VC funds because they often originate companies themselves rather than waiting for founders to pitch.
OWOW’s industrial relationships could help it identify operational problems and potential customers before a company is fully formed. That can be particularly useful for physical AI, where domain knowledge, access to real environments and early distribution matter as much as software development.
The bigger picture
As generic software becomes easier to build, venture formation may increasingly depend on proprietary distribution, industry knowledge and customer access.
Studios embedded in traditional sectors could use those advantages to create more specialised AI companies that are harder to copy than horizontal software products.
