Outmarket Raises $34.5M for Insurance AI
Outmarket raises a Series B to automate paperwork and workflow for commercial-insurance agencies.

Outmarket is using AI to attack a large but operationally messy corner of financial services: commercial insurance.
What happened
The company raised a $34.5 million Series B led by SignalFire, only four months after its $17 million Series A.
Fika Ventures, Permanent Capital Ventures, TTV Capital and Dash Fund also participated.
Outmarket automates paperwork and workflow for commercial-insurance agencies. The company says more than 300 agencies use its product, including roughly a quarter of the top 100 agencies.
A person familiar with the deal put the valuation at $335 million.
Why it matters
Commercial insurance is filled with custom documents, coverage types and manual processes.
That makes it a good market for vertical AI because the value comes from understanding a specialised workflow, not from building a general-purpose assistant.
Outmarket's rapid fundraising suggests investors see strong demand for automation in insurance distribution and agency operations.
The bigger picture
AI adoption in financial services often starts in back-office and middle-office workflows.
Insurance agencies are a strong example: complex enough to need domain expertise, but repetitive enough for automation to create measurable productivity gains.
