Osavul Raises €8.5M for Threat Detection
Osavul’s Series A shows how cybersecurity, information monitoring and resilience are starting to overlap.

Osavul’s new funding sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, information monitoring and organisational resilience.
What happened
Osavul raised €8.5 million in Series A funding to expand its AI platform for detecting hostile information threats. The round was led by 33N Ventures, with participation from Balnord, G+D Ventures and 42CAP.
The company has worked around public-sector and critical-infrastructure use cases, and is expanding toward airports, banks and other organisations exposed to complex digital-risk environments.
Why it matters
Security threats are no longer limited to malware or network intrusions. Organisations increasingly need to monitor coordinated influence campaigns, fraud signals and digital activity that may affect public trust or operational continuity.
Osavul is part of a broader category of companies trying to make these signals machine-readable and actionable. That makes it relevant for both public-sector resilience and enterprise risk management.
The bigger picture
Cybersecurity is expanding beyond perimeter defence into intelligence, trust and information integrity. As AI makes impersonation and synthetic content cheaper, companies that can detect suspicious patterns across digital channels may become more important to governments and critical industries.
