Opio Raises €4M for Due-Diligence AI
Opio has raised €4 million to automate data preparation and review work inside financial due diligence.

Financial due diligence still relies heavily on analysts manually cleaning, checking and reconciling company accounts. Opio has raised €4 million to automate more of that preparation work.
What happened
The Paris-based startup raised the round from Frst, Seedcamp and GFC.
Its software collects and structures financial data for transaction-services teams and is already used by firms including Forvis Mazars and BDO.
Why it matters
Due diligence is a strong target for AI because much of the workload is repetitive but still requires human judgement at the end.
Automating the data preparation layer can give professionals more time to focus on anomalies, quality of earnings and transaction risks rather than spreadsheet administration.
The bigger picture
Professional services are increasingly adopting AI at the workflow level rather than only using generic copilots.
Opio represents a broader category of vertical tools that automate the repetitive foundation of expert work while keeping final interpretation with humans.
