OMass Raises $310M for Endocrine and Immune Drugs
OMass Therapeutics has raised $310 million to advance small-molecule programmes in endocrinology and immunology, making it one of Europe's largest private biotech rounds of 2026.

OMass Therapeutics has raised $310 million to advance small-molecule programmes in endocrinology and immunology, making it one of Europe's largest private biotech rounds of 2026.
What happened
The oversubscribed Series C was co-led by Bain Capital Life Sciences, Forbion and Novo Holdings, with participation from Janus Henderson, SV Health Investors, Jefferson Life Sciences and existing investors including Syncona, Oxford Science Enterprises, GV, Northpond Ventures, Sanofi Ventures, British Business Bank and the University of Oxford. The funding will advance lead candidate OMS1620, an MC2 receptor antagonist for congenital adrenal hyperplasia and ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome, through Phase II, while supporting early clinical work on an SLC15A4 inhibitor for lupus and other immune conditions. OMass uses its OdyssION platform, which combines native mass spectrometry, biochemistry and chemistry to study difficult drug targets in more biologically relevant environments.
Why it matters
The round gives OMass enough capital to move multiple programmes into meaningful clinical development rather than relying on a single asset. Its platform is designed for proteins that are difficult to study with conventional drug-discovery methods, which could expand the set of biologically important targets considered druggable.
The bigger picture
Large European biotech rounds remain relatively rare, so the financing is also a signal of investor appetite for platform companies with clinical assets. The real test now moves from discovery to human data, where safety and efficacy will determine whether the platform produces commercially valuable medicines.
