Noxtua Raises €100M+ for European Legal AI
Noxtua has raised more than €100M as legal publisher C.H.BECK becomes majority owner, deepening the link between proprietary legal content and AI software.

Noxtua has raised more than €100M in a strategically important legal-AI financing that also brings a major legal publisher in as majority owner.
What happened
The company closed a Series C of more than €100M, with C.H.BECK becoming its majority shareholder and MANZ joining as an investor.
Noxtua provides AI tools for legal research, analysis and document drafting using curated, jurisdiction-specific legal content. The company says it now has tens of thousands of users and a growing European footprint.
Why it matters
Legal AI depends heavily on trusted source material, jurisdictional accuracy and professional credibility. A close partnership with established legal publishers can provide proprietary content, distribution and domain expertise that general-purpose AI vendors may struggle to match.
The bigger picture
The legal-AI market is increasingly becoming a contest over data rights and workflow ownership, not only model performance. Publishers that control authoritative content may become powerful infrastructure partners rather than simply content suppliers to AI platforms.
