NexGen Cloud secures $106 million loan for GPUs in Finland
USD.AI arranged a four-year secured facility with Silver Point and Victory Park, backed by contracted compute capacity.

AI infrastructure is increasingly being financed around equipment and customer contracts. NexGen Cloud’s $106 million facility is a clear example of that approach.
What happened
On 29 October, USD.AI announced a closed, four-year senior secured term loan for NexGen Cloud, with Silver Point Capital and Victory Park Capital participating as lenders.
The facility finances 216 NVIDIA HGX B300 servers, containing 1,728 GPUs, at a Finnish data centre. Funding from escrow is aligned with server shipment, expected in Q4 2026.
The capacity is fully contracted through a take-or-pay agreement with an unnamed AI inference platform. Under that structure, the customer commits to payment for capacity under agreed terms. The loan amortises over the same period.
Why it matters
Contracted revenue can help an infrastructure provider obtain borrowing against hardware without relying entirely on new equity. Here, the facility follows a separate $34 million NexGen Cloud financing arranged earlier in 2026.
The bigger picture
This is debt financing, with repayment obligations. The investment case depends on hardware delivery, customer payment and the equipment’s useful economics over the loan term. Contracted demand helps the structure, while leaving execution and counterparty risks to manage.
