Netsec Raises €8.9M for AI-Native Cybersecurity
Netsec has raised more than €8.9M to scale an AI-native managed platform combining cybersecurity and IT operations.

Cybersecurity stacks keep getting more complex while many mid-sized companies still lack the people to operate them.
What happened
Netsec raised more than €8.9 million in equity to scale its AI-native cybersecurity and IT platform. The company combines device management, identity, networking, cloud, security operations, helpdesk and compliance in a single managed offering.
Its model uses automation to reduce the manual operational work normally required across those functions, targeting organisations that need stronger security without building large internal teams.
Why it matters
Regulation and cyber risk are pushing enterprise-grade requirements further down the market. Companies affected by frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA may need better controls, monitoring and documentation even when they do not have enterprise-sized IT departments.
That creates an opening for platforms that combine software with managed execution. The value proposition is not simply another security product, but reducing the number of tools and people needed to run the overall environment.
The bigger picture
AI is changing cybersecurity on both sides. Attackers gain new automation capabilities, while defenders are using AI to compress routine operations, triage alerts and coordinate workflows.
Netsec fits into a broader move toward AI-enabled managed services, where software increasingly performs work that previously required fragmented specialist teams.
