Nebius open-sources Physical AI Workbench
Nebius open-sourced an agent-ready framework connecting data generation, simulation, training and evaluation for robotics teams.

Nebius has open-sourced Physical AI Workbench, an integrated development framework for robotics and physical AI.
What happened
The framework brings data generation, simulation, model training and evaluation into one environment that software agents can inspect and operate.
It incorporates tools for synthetic-data generation, robot simulation, policy models, data curation and observability. The goal is to replace the manual work of connecting separate infrastructure, software and orchestration layers.
Why it matters
Robotics teams often spend significant engineering time building pipelines before they can train or test a model. A shared workbench could shorten iteration cycles and make advanced physical-AI tooling accessible to smaller teams.
The bigger picture
As robotics development becomes more software-driven, the platform layer is becoming strategically important. Competition is expanding beyond robot hardware into the tools used to generate data, train models and manage experiments.
