Nara Health Raises $10M for Benefits Administration
Nara Health raises about $10M to build an AI-enabled operating layer for employer health benefits and care coordination.

Nara Health has raised about $10 million in seed funding to build a more integrated operating layer for employer health benefits.
What happened
The round was led by Khosla Ventures, with Long Journey Ventures and Superior Studios participating. Nara administers alternative employer health plans across claims, benefits, member support and care coordination. Its platform also uses AI agents to help members navigate care and book appointments.
Why it matters
US employers face rising healthcare costs and fragmented benefits administration. Most employees still navigate separate insurance, provider, claims and support systems, creating both poor experiences and administrative waste.
Nara's approach is notable because the AI sits inside a broader operating system rather than being offered as a standalone health chatbot.
The bigger picture
Healthcare AI is increasingly being embedded in administrative infrastructure where savings can be measured directly. Claims, scheduling, care navigation and benefits support may be more commercially tractable than replacing clinical judgment. Nara is betting employers will pay for a unified layer that combines those workflows.
