Namespace Raises €37M for Agentic Dev Infrastructure

Agentic software development needs fast, reliable infrastructure underneath the coding assistant itself.

What happened

Zurich-based Namespace raised a €37M Series B led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from 20VC, NEA, Essence, Burst Capital and angel investors. The company builds coding, build and test infrastructure across Mac, Windows and Linux.

Namespace says revenue grew 8x over the past 12 months, helped by demand from teams that need faster development environments and automated testing capacity.

Why it matters

Coding agents are only useful if they can run, test and validate code quickly. Infrastructure bottlenecks are especially painful for iOS and macOS workflows, where Mac environments are harder to scale.

Namespace is positioned around the execution layer beneath agentic development: the machines, environments and workflows that let humans and agents ship software more reliably.

The bigger picture

The AI coding market is expanding beyond IDE copilots. As agents do more work, build and test infrastructure becomes a strategic layer because it determines how quickly generated code can be verified and deployed.
