Monopulse Raises €2M for Resilient Drones

Danish-Lithuanian drone maker Monopulse has secured more than €2 million to scale systems designed for missions where normal positioning and communications are unreliable.

What happened

Monopulse, operating through MNP Technologijos, raised over €2 million with backing from investors including Coinvest Capital, Plug and Play and NGL Ventures. It develops reconnaissance unmanned aircraft designed to continue operating under contested electromagnetic conditions, where interference can disrupt navigation or control systems. The company reports supplying customers within the Lithuanian and Danish armed forces and intends to use the new capital to expand manufacturing and international sales across NATO markets. The round is modest relative to the costs of scaling defence hardware, making existing procurement relationships a significant part of its investment story.

Why it matters

Military buyers increasingly prioritise whether small unmanned systems are reliable in demanding conditions, can be manufactured consistently and fit into existing operational requirements. Winning early customers is important, but translating limited deployments into repeatable production and larger programmes is a different commercial challenge.

The bigger picture

European defence technology investment is moving beyond prototype demonstrations toward manufacturing capacity, supply-chain resilience and procurement access. Monopulse illustrates why smaller specialist suppliers can still attract capital in a sector dominated by much larger contractors. Its future growth will depend on execution and customer adoption, not just demand for drones in general.
