Meta launches Muse personal AI agent
Meta has introduced Muse, a personal AI agent designed to act across email, calendars, payments, shopping and other connected services.

Meta is pushing consumer AI beyond chat into a much more ambitious idea: an agent that can act across a user’s digital life.
What happened
Meta introduced Muse, a personal AI agent designed to connect with services including email, calendars, payments, shopping, health and fitness, smart-home tools and entertainment platforms. The goal is to let the system complete everyday tasks rather than only answer questions.
Why it matters
Useful consumer agents need deep access to personal data and accounts. Meta has enormous distribution, but the same access that makes an agent useful also raises the trust threshold around permissions, privacy and mistakes.
The bigger picture
Consumer AI is moving from conversational interfaces toward action. The winning products may be those that can safely coordinate across many existing services, not simply produce the best text response inside a chat window.
