LO:TECH raises $12m Series A
LO:TECH raised $12m to expand institutional trading infrastructure and execution services across traditional, digital and prediction markets.

Markets that run around the clock need trading infrastructure that can do the same. LO:TECH is building its business around that connection between traditional finance and digital venues.
What happened
London-based LO:TECH raised a $12m Series A led by MMC, with participation from Faction, 13 Books Capital and Atka.
The company provides trading infrastructure, liquidity and execution services across traditional financial markets, digital assets and prediction markets. The new capital will support expansion into the US and Asia-Pacific, including plans for New York and Singapore, as well as the development of its institutional execution services.
Why it matters
Trading across different venues and operating hours creates practical demands around connectivity, liquidity and execution. Institutional clients need those parts to work together, particularly when an asset or exposure can move between several markets.
LO:TECH’s approach is to build infrastructure across those boundaries. Its opportunity depends on providing a reliable service that institutions choose to use repeatedly.
The bigger picture
Tokenised assets and digital trading are creating work for infrastructure providers as well as consumer-facing platforms. The supporting systems have to fit into how institutions manage risk and operate their businesses.
International expansion also involves obtaining the relevant regulatory authorisations. The financing supports that next phase, but market entry, approvals and customer adoption remain separate execution milestones rather than automatic consequences of raising capital.
