Linkener Raises €7.5M for AI-Powered Energy Management
The Spanish energy-tech company will develop its software, add proprietary AI models and pursue acquisitions in a fragmented market.

Linkener has raised €7.5 million to expand its digital energy-management platform for businesses.
What happened
The round was led by Klima Energy Transition Fund, with GoHub Ventures continuing its support. Linkener combines consumption metering, invoice validation, data analysis and optimisation recommendations. It plans to develop proprietary AI models, expand geographically and acquire complementary companies or products.
Why it matters
Businesses often manage energy data across disconnected meters, invoices and service providers. Better visibility can expose billing errors, inefficient consumption and opportunities to cut costs and emissions.
The bigger picture
Energy software is consolidating as customers seek a single system for measurement, analysis and action. AI can make these platforms more proactive, but the value ultimately depends on verified savings rather than dashboards alone.
