Lexroom uses M&A to expand legal AI across Europe
Lexroom has made its first two acquisitions as it uses local platforms to expand legal AI across European jurisdictions.

Legal AI has a localisation problem: the law, source material and professional workflow change from one jurisdiction to another.
What happened
Lexroom acquired Query Juriste in France and Praven Intelekt in Bulgaria, its first two acquisitions. The deals come four months after its $50 million Series B and expand the company into five European markets.
Why it matters
Buying established local products can give Lexroom access to users, legal datasets and jurisdiction-specific workflows that would be difficult to recreate quickly through translation alone.
The bigger picture
European legal AI may consolidate market by market. In regulated professional software, international expansion can require a combination of model capability, local content and distribution — making M&A a natural growth strategy.
