LawX raises €7.5M for legal workflow automation
LawX raised a €7.5M seed round to build an AI-powered operating system for the administrative workflows of law firms and notaries.

Much of legal work is still constrained by administrative software built long before modern automation became possible.
What happened
Berlin-based LawX raised a €7.5M seed round led by Motive Partners, with WENVEST Capital, xdeck and SIVentures participating alongside angel investors. The company is building an AI-powered operating system for law firms and notaries covering workflows such as data capture, documents, case management, calendars and billing.
Why it matters
Legal AI investment often focuses on research, drafting and contract review. LawX is targeting the operational layer instead, where labour shortages and outdated back-office software create a different automation opportunity.
The bigger picture
Vertical AI markets are expanding from expert knowledge tasks into administrative infrastructure. In legal services, the long-term winner may need to combine AI assistance with the system of record that firms already use to run cases and client operations.
