Latch raises $8M to automate enterprise workflows
Latch raised $8 million to build an AI context layer that observes how work is done and turns those workflows into automation.

Enterprise AI is shifting from generic assistants toward systems that first learn how a company actually operates.
What happened
Latch raised $8 million in funding led by FUSE. The startup is building software that maps real-world enterprise workflows, captures operational context and uses that information to automate routine work. The company was launched by entrepreneur Stefan Kalb with CTO Jared Kofron after an earlier iteration under the Super Labs name.
Why it matters
Many enterprise automation projects fail because the underlying process is poorly documented or differs across teams. A system that first observes and structures how work happens could give AI agents better context before they start taking actions.
The bigger picture
The emerging enterprise-agent stack is developing a new context layer between systems of record and autonomous execution. Startups increasingly see workflow discovery, permissions and organisational memory as prerequisites for reliable automation rather than optional add-ons.
